You can buy a partial ethereum (ether) or a whole one. It's all the same.

Did anyone use the Ethereum-Wallet as suggested in the article to buy and store their Ether.

 

I did and unfortunately they were hacked back in June. Does anyone have any info regarding updates on recovery of the ether?
