  1. Thank you James , that is pretty awesome! I'm amazed at how badly people get shafted by some of these companies.

    Hello

And still is, up until I make a profit hopefully.

    Hello

Yes indeed, on the rare occasion it's better to let go, even at a loss, to rather spend your energy and time on something else in order to recover your losses. It's not always that easy, not knowing what will come next or happen later down the line.

    Hello

Kumbo has burnt me badly so many times and naturally I finally gave up and sold everything at a loss, only for it to start climbing a few weeks later, reaching 500% growth shortly after. So yes, investing can suck a lot if you keep thinking back to the "what if's"
  5. Flat like me, except for the round six pack of course.

    Hello

Ahoy Brendan, All the best, I started with EE as well by using the demo account. Played around with that for a few months and then finally took the REAL plunge. Been a roller coaster ride since then, but happy to report that I've been in the green for the most part and still am. The key is to diversify, don't throw all your hard earned money into one share, that is very risky i.m.o Happy hunting
  7. I R loving it. Only took me a month to notice it ":D
  8. That's just it, they are very constant with average growth around 12% yearly, far to boring for me.
  9. There is a R110 minimum charge unfortunately and I guess you pay x amount for every live price lookup Anyways, if I buy/sell R100 000 worth of shares on EE and Sharenet, the total costs would be EE = buy R620.72 Sell R370.73 = R991.45 Sharenet = buy R 605.43 Sell R 355.43 = R960.86 So according to those figures Sharenet is slightly cheaper than EE, not sure at which figure the table starts turning though.
  10. You should have slept till today
  11. No mention of Sharenet on here? WHY TRADE SHARES WITH SHARENET? http://www.sharenetsecurities.co.za/securities/costs.php Simple 0.3% flat brokerage fee User friendly and intuitive online platform Live price snap shots or streaming prices* Market depth volume and price data* Stop losses Fast direct market access Secure, separate Broker Dealer Account Free SMS and/or email notifications Research - Broker Consensus Forecasts* Avoid additional costs and easily manage multiple portfolios from one account Email and telephone support
  12. I wouldn't touch Sea Harvest or any fishing related company with a ten foot pole Just look at PFF for example, price started sliding a week or so after listing. And as per my prediction, they are slowly but surely moving into illiquid territory.

    Hello

Ola Mon'Ami Hope you have some amazing investment tips and tricks to share during your stay.
  14. I can 100% see how that is possible since they only issues a limited amount of shares, like really LIMITED Suppose that's what happens when you only trying to get R500 mil
  15. Nope, I feel the stock itself will be illiquid, might be worth holding in the long term, just not my kind of pond. I'm however very interested to see how it goes the first few weeks.
  16. I'll give them that, and only that, for the time being.
  17. This is exactly the problem with these new places, their advertising is basically nonexistent. If it wasn't for this forum I would have never known about 4AX and ZARx, I have no idea how Joe Public is suppose to know they even exist. I suppose it's still early days, but my god, if this was my companies every Tom Dick and Harry would already know of their existence and what they all about.
  18. We've been using this accountant for almost 6 years, she is awesome. Last I checked she only has 5 dedicated clients [email protected] In case you interested.
  19. I sell my body on tinder
  20. I figured this might be the case Hamster, I mean, this is South Africa after all where 90% of business care more about their bottom line than their clients. Adding to that is the fact that more and more extremely incompetent people are getting hired to fill posted where they have absolutely no clue how to operate. I'm so glad I have less than 15 years left of work, because in 25 years time our entire workforce will implode due to untrained incompetent individuals. *sips coffee*
  21. So frustrating to watch this stock, I was hoping once it broke the R7.20 mark it would hover between R6.70 - R7.00, until finally moving into the R8 bracket.
  22. Amazed that it's taking so long, it's not like people didn't know about this years ago already
  23. Extremely close link to the Gold price, tread carefully
  24. And here I thought the question on everyone's mind would be "How do I trade on ZARX" ????
  25. Haha yeah, they make my eyes bleed every time I look at them, hopefully time will nurture them back to health and wealth
