  1. Anyone else excited about the Golem Project? https://golem.network/ I've invested a fair sum into this awhile back, so am hopeful it will eventually blossom into the beautiful flower that is envisioned by their team.
  2. Wait what, eighty or more witnesses, jeebus, this trial is going to take 4 months then

Glad to see Ice3x on the forum, should be a wealth of useful information.
  4. That pretty much sums up the approach I took
  5. You really think they going to put Marli on the stand?
  6. Well I've grown bored of this entire case and I have a feeling many others feel the same. It's moving so slowly with very little real substance at this stage. At this rate it's going to be a few more months
  7. I use Nedbank Just Invest account for that same thing, can get your money within 24 hours. Their rates go from a minimum of 5.5% on R5000 and maximum 6.75% on R500 000 Scroll down the link for more rates on different amounts https://www.nedbank.co.za/content/nedbank/desktop/gt/en/personal/interest-rates/account-interest-rates.html

Apparently within 2 weeks according to ice3x website, but I won't hold my thumbs.
  9. Not much happening here, now we wait for the next, hopefully thrilling update, come Tuesday
  10. Are you sure it's not massive.
  11. For all those not happy with Luno pricing, please read Werner's comments in thread link below, hopefully that will help better your understanding of how it works. https://platinumwealth.co.za/forum/Thread-Understanding-Bitcoin-with-Luno
  12. Time to look at alternatives?
  13. That's exactly how I saw it, thanks for the clarification

Wow thanks for the informative review Hamster, this will more than likely help many of us navigate future transactions. Did you place a manual price order for the BTC, or is there a quick buy option?
  15. Yeah I don't know, this whole delay in updating and everything else that followed with ice3x has swayed me from using them.
  16. Please correct me if I'm wrong, when placing buy orders on the Luno exchange that aren't filled immediately, the transaction cost will be 0%? If this is correct, what is meant by "immediately" ?
  17. Also interested
  18. From what I understand they have put a 2 week deadline on the ETH implementation. So lets say another 2 months minimum.
  19. So what are we aiming to achieve after everything has been released? Do people think the Gupta's will be held accountable for their dubious actions/transactions/corruption and all other things criminal?
  20. I'm far to lazy to be a miner, rather went the investment route Personally I feel if you say invest 35k right now, 4 months down the line it might be worth double that. So in theory you need to repay 70k before breaking even, but that's just my outlook. For all we know the entire crypto platform can take a dive for the worst, which is not impossible. This is however a risk I'm willing to take.
  21. Wow the level of incompetence in this Hitchcock dude is astounding to say the least.
  22. Come to think of it, won't this be bad for miners, I mean, the market will get flooded with cheaper cards, so many more people will start mining
  23. If I had to guess it will be a 1060 with most safety parameters disabled, but will cost much less due to the 90 days warranty that comes with it. Extract here "" AMD is planning to redesign its entry-level 400 series graphics and Nvidia also plans to release GeForce GTX 1060-100 GPU for mining. Both GPUs will not feature ports for image output and their prices will also be cheaper than the same grade products""
  24. Nvidia and AMD plan to release graphics cards designed specifically for cryptocurrency miners, according to a report from DigiTimes. This follows a global shortage of AMD’s Radeon RX 580 and RX 570 cards, which are extremely popular among miners due to their efficiency and mining power. Mining cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum and Bitcoin allows users to earn a passive income by dedicating their GPU processing power to mine blocks on a blockchain. The report stated that due to the growing demand for mining GPUs, Nvidia and AMD are working on cards that will have reduced specifications and costs, and maximise cryptocurrency mining efficiency. The mining-focused cards will reportedly be available at the end of June 2017 and will have a warranty of 90 days. The report said AMD will launch redesigned entry-level RX 400-series cards for miners, while Nvidia will release a GeForce GTX 1060-based card for mining.
  25. DCA has always been my preferred method when investing on the JSE, which I've passed onto crypto. The given example and explanation on the link still remains helpful, thanks.
