  1. It's Friday, bit brain dead today, will think about it over the weekend.
  2. Very tempting Leigh, very tempting indeed. Meanwhile I see Murray and Roberts released a market update to discuss yesterday..... MARKET ACTIVITY IN MURRAY & ROBERTS ORDINARY SHARES The Company notes the unusually high trading volumes in Murray & Roberts ordinary shares traded on the securities exchange operated by JSE Limited (“JSE”) during the course of yesterday, 16 February 2017. According to market data, approximately 96 million Murray & Roberts shares traded, equivalent to approximately 22% of the Company’s total issued ordinary share capital and the volume weighted average price of Murray & Roberts’ shares traded yesterday was R14.91, with a high price of R15.00. The Company notes that these trades were executed at prices well above both the volume weighted average prices of Murray & Roberts shares over the 30-day and 60-day periods to 15 February 2017 of R11.19 and R11.38 respectively which were sourced from market data. The Company is not currently aware of anything that could have led to this unusual market activity. The identities and/or intentions of the acquirer(s) of Murray & Roberts’ shares are not known to the Company and will not be known unless the acquirer either approaches the Company directly or is required to notify the Company in terms of section 122 of the Companies Act, 71 of 2008 (“Companies Act”). The Company has not yet been notified by any sellers of Murray & Roberts’ shares who may be required to do so in terms of section 122 of the Companies Act.
  3. Yeah that sounds great, give names according to amazing investors out there. IE:...Newbie could be Penny Pincher or something to that effect.
  4. Those are extremely low, maybe add one 0 to each
  5. Any more news about Pembury Group Limited, when the listing will take place in February? Will there be an IPO? Something?
  6. I still have no idea what is going on with ARA , are they even trying to make money or just to scared to invest it in something?
  7. I had a gut feeling, which was clearly just an indication that I should eat something, instead I invested in CRD, go figure.
  8. Where do I start.......
  9. Fingers crossed that today is the day that PPC breaks through the R7.50 mark, all depending if the merger update gets released or not though.
  10. I guess only time will tell whether something will actually come of this, either way, am hopeful the rand straightens more now.
  11. Times like these that I wise I had more than 1.5k at the time axl went online, oh well, profit is profit regardless of amount.
  12. Don't forget the real time settlement times
  13. Not even in business yet and already fighting, not a good sign
  14. Am hopeful that they will release said promised update regarding the merger tomorrow.
  15. Wiser words have not been spoken
  16. At work, so can't watch, am I missing anything of significance ? *tries keeping straight face*
  17. I sure am, but not feeling all that optimistic, will hopefully break even before year end.
  18. Pity those aren't TAS and PPC charts
  19. Interesting times ahead, one has to wonder what their platform will look like and if you need to subscribe with a monthly fee in order to trade.
  20. Cool thanks, will look into IG whenever I get bored or have time, whichever comes first.
  21. Likewise, that's one area I haven't explored yet, but get the feeling you need quite a bit if time figuring all that out. Would be awesome if trading at night is an option, which platform you thinking of? PS..... welcome Leigh and thank you for the post.
  22. Now we sit and wait as per usual, sounds very positive all round.
  23. AFAIK PIC owns around 67% of Afrisam, not sure if they have anything in PPC though? PIC owns 15.2% of PPC I think they are the single biggest shareholder if I am not mistaken? That seems to be the case, PIC probably owns 30% of everything on the JSE at this stage lol
  24. AFAIK PIC owns around 67% of Afrisam, not sure if they have anything in PPC though?
