CAPE TOWN - Political parties are debating President Jacob Zuma’s State of the Nation Address (Sona) in Parliament.

 

Zuma's address last week was again marred by chaos, violence and insults.

 

The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) have indicated they will not attend the debate.

Debate on the State of the Nation Address and Reply by President Jacob Zuma

 

The National Assembly (NA) and National Council of Provinces (NCOP) will host a Joint Sitting to debate President Jacob Zuma’s 2017 State of the Nation Address on Tuesday, 14 February and Wednesday, 15 February 2017 at 14h00 on both days.

 

The two-day debate, to be held in the National Assembly Chamber, will be followed by President Jacob Zuma’s Reply on Thursday, 16 February 2017 at 14h00.

At work, so can't watch, am I missing anything of significance ?  *tries keeping straight face*

 

Well the lady just said in the past 20 years the ANC had connected more homes with electricity than the colonial settlers did......?

 

So I guess electricity has been around for ages?

It seems the vocabulary of the ANC consists of 2 words and 1 phrase:

 

"Radical"

"neo-liberal"

"White Monopoly Capital"
