Has anyone managed to do their efiling and succesfully get any refunds??? I did mine in July, and same as last year I was chosen to be audited. I submitted everything, and three months and many phone calls later I still don't have an answer as to what is going on with my audit/verification/refund... Couple of guys at work also haven't received theirs.

To those still interested in Liberty's new REIT which will list in December, according to this article: http://www.iol.co.za/business/personal-finance/libertys-property-fund-spawns-a-reit-2072237 , Liberty clients, regardless of whether they are currently exposed to the Liberty Property Portfolio or not, are being offered an opportunity to invest up to R1 billion in the Reit on a first-come-first-served basis ahead of the listing, also at a five-percent discount to the listing price.

What is Vodacom's cancellation costs
DieWerner replied to Spreadsheet Ranger's topic in General Chat
Ja nee, Vodacom is always screwing people. In another note, Cell C is now actively (desperately maybe?) paying people to join its network! Giving up to R10 000 cash back on certain contracts. http://www.fin24.com/Tech/Mobile/cell-c-gives-away-cash-in-new-contract-drive-20160928 -

I've got 10% in PTXTEN and DIVTRX each, both have been going sideways or down since I bought mid-June... So far my TFSA is 3% in the red...

How Xiaomi's new phones crush the iPhone 7
DieWerner replied to Spreadsheet Ranger's topic in News and Current Affairs
Actually looks like a great phone, and for much cheaper than name-brand phones! As per your other thread, I also can no longer find the Orange store, looks like the website has gone rogue. This site looks like a decent alternative: http://www.zeekonline.co.za/products/xiaomi-mi-5-32gb-lte-dual-sim-white https://www.zasttra.com/products/xiaomi-mi5-smart-phone-32gb-network-4g-5-15-inch-miui-7-0-snapdragon-820-quad-core-1-8ghz-ram-3gbwhite (slightly cheaper, and free delivery in ZA) Edit: Orange store is back: http://store.orange.com/za/mobile-phones/sim-free-phones/ , but it doesn't have the Xiaomi -

Is there anything that could help STXIND back on track??? I've got 40% of my TFSA in it, and now I'm waiting for it to go back up, seems to be going up and down for reasons I can't figure out. I know you can't time the market, but I bought in @ 7122 in June sometime, when it looked like it would go up again

What is Vodacom's cancellation costs
DieWerner replied to Spreadsheet Ranger's topic in General Chat
Phone 082 1958, they'll tell you... Usually you need to pay the rest handset portion of the contract in full, in order to buy out the contract, plus some kind of penalty Did some quick Googlery: http://www.fin24.com/Tech/Gadgets/how-to-calculate-your-phone-contract-cancellation-fee-20160707 -
Does anyone have R1million that they want to invest in franchises? These guys let you do just that, R1Mil minimum fixed for 60 Months, guaranteeing that "Investors receive a fixed return of 12.2% annually – before dividend tax of 15% – paid out monthly" by investing in preference shares in their portfolio of franchises... http://www.thefranchiseco.co.za/#section-what

Another Property fund does well: http://www.bdlive.co.za/business/property/2016/08/19/polish-globe-trade-centre-opens-for-business-on-jse It's a Polish company, listed in Warsaw, and owns properties mostly in Poland This one only listed on the JSE little over a month ago (2016/08/19 @ R25.25), and has gained 17.8% to date...

Interesting find! Reading through the site, the guy actually runs a fund listed on the JSE (JSE:AWPSMCA), that tracks small and mid cap shares...
