I want to integrate with Google and Facebook to allow new users the ability to log in via google or facebook as I think that might spur more poeple to join concidering both platforms are familiar and everyone is used to it.

 

I am concidering starting with just google and see how it goes and then add the Facebook ability if the google registrations are successful.

 

Any feedback regarding this pending decision is welcomed.

That is what I thought due to chrome being the dominant player most are already signed into google.

 

I am going to attempt to implement this. Keep note this will be for new members, I am not sure I will figure out a way for existing members to hook up the API at least not in one day.

Right, Log in via google is now enabled! Existing users have been updated. If you singed up with your gmail address initially then you will automatically be able to log in via the google login or normal forum login.
