Thanks for the info on BTC, I heard somewhere about the new fork, got me confused since I thought that was what August 1 was for.
Too Posh To Pay (White-Collar Crime Documentary)
[video=youtube]
Revealing documentary that uncovers the so-called respectable members of the middle classes who cheat, fiddle and steal their way through life, from petty crime such as fiddling tax and insurance to more serious offenses like burglary, forgery, and fraud.
Not oblivious to the recent rally of bitcoin related news on SA websites, it made me wonder precious metals always seemed like the 'safe' thing and internet money seems like it's something you win or lose with.
Then I looked at the charts and data of various precious metals including cold and silver and those metals don't look so "safe" after all.
What do you guys think?

What are the fees/training/qualification costs involved? I know you said matric is all that is needed, but is that really all? I wanted to sell houses on weekends since all I need to do is sign the contract and get my commission, but there's a lot of qualifications you need first.

The Fall of the British Empire
If MoneyWeek are to be believed, Britain's love affair with borrowing has put us on a collision course with complete economic, social and political collapse. Osborne cannot save us now. The Fall of the British Empire - End of UK
An apocalyptic documentary regarding the sorry state of the British Economy and it's colossal debt mountain. Warning: Unpleasant content.
Thanks @Hamster and @Outlook I think I am going to put 7K into a 32 day notice account, I think Capitec has some short term savings option I will just go read a bit more and have a look, then the R3k I will use to buy the property ETF that way I can get a start on the market as it would be the end destination once I start working.
Hi all, I recently graduated from uni and have R10K in savings that I want to park and leave for a short term (about 3 - 5 years)
I have been reading up a bit and have seen many advice on putting the money into ETFs rather than leaving it in savings account with the bank (I am with Capitec).
What would be a good way to get started (I have 0 knowledge about stock markets whatsoever) for ETF trading and what products should I be looking at? (I am willing to have a little bit of risk).
Thanks all.
