  1. 1. What is their idea, product, tech TomoCoin is building a blockchain infrastructure. A multilayer horizontal scaling suction for Ethereum network. It consists of TomoChain, the base layer which enables TomoApplications to run on top. Small token economies built on it. TomoCoin is used to integrate these economies and to reward consumers and developers for their participation. 2. What problem they want to solve We are working on the TomoChain, a blockchain infrastructure framework, which is an open-source, high performance, zero (economically) fee and instant confirmation blockchain that can process billions of financial transactions per day. In the current plan, TomoChain is designed to be a public permissioned chain pegged to the Ethereum network. TomoChain is a technically innovative and significant component that makes TomoCoin and other cryptographic tokens issued on it secure, transparent and trustworthy enough to be a store of value as a digital asset. TomoChain will be integrated into the Tomo application when the development is completed. 3. How they will solve this problem. The current feature plan of TomoChain includes: - Proof of Authority consensus based on Ethereum codebase - Masternode and servicenode system - 2 second confirmation and zero transaction fee for transactions - Support all Ethereum smart contracts - API supports for token issuances and integrations - Zero-fee atomic cross-chain transactions (between Ethereum and TomoChain back and forth) - Sending transaction within TomoChain with zero fee and fast confirmation - Mining, cashing in and cashing out features based on smart contracts - Node protection against spamming algorithm - Built-in exchange protocol and ICO smart-contract templates - Decentralized governance application 4. What is the history of the project TomoChain is a company registered in Singapore. Team has a history of working together on tomoapp.com An app of AppStore and Google Play with thousands of weekly users. So Alpha version is out since Q2 2017 5. Minimum Viable product (MVP) or a demo A demo for different parts of the project are available. The testnet for tomochain, A demo wallet and a tomoApps are all availabe for testing. 6. Roadmap Q1 2018 they will build the TomoChain. Q2 2018 Token Integration and reward engine integration. Q3 2018 TomoAPP official release. And by end of the year the Official TomoChain will be released. 7. Team and Advisors backgrounds CEO is an economy PHD Candidate. Economy is an integral part of any blockchain, so It's good that this part is covered. Team members have a previous work history together which in my opinion is more important than academic degrees. Director of engineering is a big shot github dev and very experienced. and their blockchain engineer has some experience in Cloud Architecture. Director of Qlink and Founder of CryptXO are among their advisors. 8. Token Metrics Market Cap: $8.5M Total Supply: 100 Million. 50% is sold in ICO. A big chunk of tokens are sold already in pre sale. With a working product, Minimal Hardcap and a promising technology, I am pretty sure binance will be the first exchange that pick this up. 9. HYPE +16,000 in telegram and ~$1M is left for sale. Hype is real with this one. 0c5a63
  2. Another ICO I'm very bullish on is INK Protocol. My score (based on 32 Point system explained in my other topic found here) 32 1. What is their idea, product, tech (score: 4/4) Ink Protocol (XNK Token) is a Decentralized reputation and payments protocol for peer-to-peer marketplaces. Ink helps users safely send and receive payments in P2P marketplaces while earning public reputation for every completed transaction. It greatly enhances the buying/selling process with decentralized reputation and feedback ratings, decentralized escrow for secure payments, third party dispute resolution, and very low transaction costs. 2. What problem they want to solve (score 4/4) Imagine MyBB users know you enough to know your ads in the classified section are not fake or scam. Now if you go to olx you need to build your reputation from ground up. INK is determined to solve this by attaching your identity to your wallet. this way you can accumulate your reputation across different platforms. 3. How they will solve this problem. (Score 4/4) I believe this is the best part. Ink can be integrated into new or existing marketplaces and can also be used in marketplaces that don't directly handle payments (eg, olx, gumtree and Facebook Marketplace). So if you sell/buy with XNK tokens every transaction you make will be recorded on the INK blockchain and adds to your reputation. 4. What is the history of the project (Score 4/4) INK protocol is developed by listia. Listia was stablished in 2009 and has over 10 million users and more than 100 million items were traded there so far. This means right off the bat they have millions of POTENTIAL users. even if 0.1% of this people start trading with XNK it measn 10,000 people NEED to buy XNK from exchanges from us ICO participants. Huge demand = increased value 5. Minimum Viable product (MVP) or a demo (4/4) Since they have a fully functional product and 9 years business history MVP is irreleavent. However Ink Protocol network will go live this February. So right after the token sale a huge milestone will be met. They also have an Android and iOS App. Android app has 4.2 rating on Play store and 1 Million downloads. 6. Roadmap (4/4) January 2018 – Ink Protocol public launch and token distribution event February 2018 – Ink Protocol network goes live and ready for everyone to use! February 2018 – Listia.com XNK integration goes live! Q1 2018 – Ink Pay App and Developer Portal launch Q2 2018 – Launch Reputation Aggregators and work on Marketplace Partnerships 2018 – Ink Protocol services, integration into existing marketplaces, developer community They are going to release a standalone App called INK Pay. you can use this app on any marketplace even if you are not familiar with crypto or have no account on listia. [This one is huge!] 7. Team and Advisers backgrounds (Score 4/4) CEO started his carrier at Zyxel working on P2P tech. Then he moved into e-Commerce and founded some online stores and ended up Starting Listia. XNK is a P2P marketplace. So he is doing what he was doing more than 10 years. Not like a CEO for certain ICO who outsourced all his tech! Other team members have Cisco and Sun Microsystems on their resume. Quantstamp is also one of their strategic partners. They did an audit of their smartcontract. 8. Token Metrics (4/4) $15 Million hardcap. 3 years lockup on the team and advisers tokens. This can't get any better! 9. Links Website: https://paywithink.com/ Whitepaper: https://paywithink.com/#documents Medium: https://medium.com/@PayWithInk Telegram: https://t.me/paywithink ICO Start date: 01/02/2018 8PM UTC ICO Ends: 28/02/2018 8PM UTC Better hurry and register now since it's oversubscribed already.
  3. Did you get in?! I registered for the lottery but didn't make it.
  4. As promised I will start with my most anticipated ICO of January! Experty Knowledge sharing and Monetized Consultations powered by blockchain. My score (based on 32 Point system explained in my other topic found here) 31 1. What is their idea, product, tech (score: 4/4) Experty is Uber meets Skype! Everyone can monetize their expertise and knowledge with their own pricing and timetable. You (A Doctor, Web developer, Magician, Gamer…) can create your experty profile and set your own price. Then you share your experty profile on social media and anyone who needs your expertise can call you via experty app during the timing you set on your profile and benefit from your one-on-one help. The caller will be charged by the minute and as soon as the call is over the payment is done automatically with the experty smartcontract. Since everything is done through the Blockchain there can be no disputes. The payment can be done with different cryptocurrencies, however if you use EXY tokens you can gain access to the premium features such as call scheduling and one-to-many (webinars) calls. 2. What problem they want to solve (score 4/4) It’s not a problem, more of a GAP. Experty is the answer to the question we didn’t know existed. With this app a teacher from a third world country in South America can teach Spanish to people all over the world. A youtubers can give answer personally the viewer's questions regarding their game walktrough they just uploaded. No need for advertising themselves, no need to setup forex accounts or paypal accounts (they can buy and sell EXY tokens with credit cards or bitcoin or ether) No fear of scams or issue of trust (Blockchain is trustless) and most importantly no exorbitant fees for middleman websites (experty charges minimal fees) This is why I believe experty will have a massive market in third world countries and it can become a great source of extra income. The same way people use facebook to share rides from smaller cities to joburg or use facebook groups to buy and sell their unwanted furniture. Everyone can use experty to make some extra cash and some people will setup their businesses in the experty ecosystem. 3. How they will solve this problem. (Score 4/4) They are building a mobile app and Web application so it can be accessed from multiple platforms. Also they are building their own smartcontract which has some intuitive features, like the way the smartcontract handles payments and calculates cost if the call drops. And since everything is autonomous and on the blockchain there is no fear of scams. 4. What is the history of the project (Score 4/4) The company behind Experty was founded in 2014 so the team has a long history of working together. They’ve worked on more than 30 applications worldwide and have some experience in solidity and ethereum development. However I think the fact that they worked together for 3 years means there is a solid team chemistry. In my experience a team who worked together before and understand each other can always outperform a group of strangers with better skill sets. 5. Minimum Viable product (MVP) or a demo (4/4 will be updated soon) The screenshots from the interface are self-explanatory . The Alpha version will be released before the ICO. So I will wait and test it out before making my final decision as to how much to invest in this project. 6. Roadmap (4/4) There are some amazing projects out there but the problem is their first product release is planned for 2019. Who has time for that?! Experty is in development since Q2 2017 and third quarter they had enough momentum in their project to raise $700,000. The Alpha mobile app will be released before ICO (which is very important deciding factor) By Q2 2018 The Fully functional mobile App will be released and by end of 2018 Web App will be released. In other words in one year time it will be generating revenue from Mobile and Web Apps. 7. Team and Advisors backgrounds (Score 3/4) My only concern is that the team is young and don’t have much experience outside their own company. Co founders don’t have degrees from Harvard and MIT, I know degree is a piece of paper, but it wouldn’t hurt to have some reputable university names in the resume. This is why I gave them a 3. Their Blockchain engineer worked in Sisco for over two years which is a plus. I spoke with co founders on Telegram chat and am following their discussions with other people. They seem to handle the challenging questions from the community pretty well. Their Advisory board is Stellar: Top dogs from Bitfinix, Golem, BlockV, Bitcoin Suisse and others… Everyone on the Advisory board brings their own connections and leadership experience to the project. In addition they have some big crypto influencers and youtubers onboard, this will create massive awareness and marketshare. 8. Token Metrics (4/4) They are raising 9 Million dollars in their ICO. In the current ICO climate that every project with nothing but a whitepaper is asking for +25 Million it sounds very reasonable. It definitely is not a cash grab, since with these novel Idea and solid project they could easily ask for 30 Million dollars and raise that amount in a heartbeat. More than 60% of tokens will be locked for over 18 months. This measn that after the tokens are released there will be limited supply (Do I need to hint what low supply and high demand does to price?!) As I mentioned in the other topic, with 33% initial token supply and 9 Million dollar Initial market cap the potential for growth is huge. This project easily has the potential to be a top 100 project by marketcap. 5. Thank you so much. Looking forward to learn from PW community!
  6. Other Important criteria for successful investments in my opinion are: i]Whitepaper ii] Hype iii] Industry Climate iv] Timespan v] Diversification Will post soon.
  7. I will start introducing the projects on my spreadsheet with 30+ score soon. I Will be happy to hear your feedback and input.
  8. 1. What is their idea, product, tech Is it a game changer Idea? How is the competition in their target market? If it’s not a novel idea you should see what is the value of other products in the market and how much room there is for growth. Example: Quantstamp! They are building a platform for Smartcontract security Audits. There is no universal security audits at the moment for the blockchain. 2. What problem they want to solve What is this project adding to the world? Do we even need this? Does it even make sense to make this or there other solutions that can be altered for our problem. Example: Bitconnect and all the Ponzi schemes. Nobody needs that. 3. How they will solve this problem. Do they really need blockchain tech? Or they just want to grab some easy $$? What is the advantage of their way of doing things over their competition?! Example: All the bitconnect rip-off and look a likes. Just cash grabs. AVOID! 4. What is the history of the project While it’s possible that some kids getting together and starting an ICO succeed. A company with stablished business and actual work experience can be a very good assurance. Example: Ripio Credit network already has it’s own clients. With Blockchain tech they will be borderless. Even if they fail to expand, they already have their previous clients. 5. Minimum Viable product (MVP) or a demo Never invest in Whitepapers. Never invest in promise of product. The project should at least have a MVP. Try testing the demo. See if you can find any reviews for the products. Example: Wabi was on app store before ICO. Fully functional App already available. 6. Roadmap This is very important, if their milestones are too far apart public interest will die down and the price will go down subsequently. Best ICO’s are the ones that will have a big release/Announcement in the span of 2 months’ time around Crowdsale. Example: Request Network released Colossus ahead of schedule and the price jumped like crazy 7. Team and Advisors backgrounds You should check each team member’s experience. Do they have LinkedIn profiles? Is it legit or they just set it up yesterday? Advisors are crucial. They will add value to the project with their relationships and connections. Example: SingularityNET has more PHD in it's team than Zuma's cabinet! 8. Token Metrics Market cap, Total Token Supply, Circulating Supply and token price. An ICO raising 10 million dollars vs one asking for 30M! If the first project does a 5X it’s marketcap will be less than the other project at 2X! Lower marketcap more room for growth. Example: Publica with 2 Million dollar marketcap did a 10X All these criterias are interconnected. While a project can be week in one or two area the overall score should be HIGH. The best practice is to have a spreadsheet with a column for every criteria. For example if we give 4 star to each criteria you should avoid any project that has less than 27 overall score. 27 out of (32=4*8). Any ICO with more than two criteria with 1 star should be avoided.
  9. In this thread I will try and give a basic and non technical break down of what is an ICO. What is Initial Coin Offering (ICO) or Token Generating Event? Basically a company or a team of developers will pitch their idea to the public and ask for money to build their idea into a product. People will pay their hard earned cash to the team in hope of gaining profit after the product is built. You will receive Tokens (=Coin=Cryptocurrency) for your money and you can sell these tokens on secondary markets (crypto exchanges) hopefully at a profit. However with over 10 ICOs launching every month it's not an easy task to find the profitable ones and more importantly finding and avoiding the scam ICOs. Here I will try to list my criteria for finding the best ICO's. i] WHITEPAPER Whitepapers are like an essay detailing the whole project. This is your bible. first thing you need to do is to familiarize yourself with the concept the team is selling. What you should be looking for in the whitepaper is: What is their idea, product, tech What problem they want to solve How they will solve this problem. What is the history of the project Minimum Viable product (MVP) or a demo Roadmap Team and Advisors backgrounds Token Metrics In the next post I will expand on these points.
  10. I have it under my radar. It's one of better ICO's of early 2018. Cross blockchain tokens will be huge in 2018! They are yet to announce token metrics and the whitelist is not even open yet. I can update this topic with new info as it comes out.
  11. Bittrex is good. Support is awful though. It took them almost 40 days to manually verify my account. the biggest advantage of bittrex is it's volume which is much more than any other exchange for most alts. better prices in general. Binance added stop loss orders last week. So right now it's the best exchange in my opinion. The charts are much better than bittrex. if you use BNB you pay half the fees which is nice. The best part is you don't need to be verified to withdraw. Just open an account and you can withdraw up to 3 BTC daily. I love EtherDelta. I don't get why everyone is so scared of it. Since I'm buying into ICO's for short term investments and most ICO's release their token on ED first it's the best place for making quick buck.
  12. Sera here. Finally decided to come out of the shadows and start posting. I've been following crypto for over a year now, mostly on reddit. Had to buy another car and other personal issues, so just managed to invest in October. So far Sooo good! I can respect Bitcoin as a pioneer of Blockchain tech and am grateful for the awareness and mass adoption that it's bringing to this space. But I'm an Ethereum hardcore fan. So many times crypto mania is compared to the .com bubble and how bitcoin and crypto economy is going to collapse one day. I believe with the way bitcoin price speculation and its power plays and politics work a collapse is plausible. Then again .com bubble gave us Google and Amazon and 4K 120Hz framerates. So all is and will be well at the end. I’m trying to put my money in projects and tokens that will be standing strong after the [plausible] big short. That’s why I’ve been doing a lot of homework and I hope to learn more from pw. Cheers
