Hi, Merry Xmas to all I am new to share investing and busy learning the ropes. I spotted this on Moneyweb last week and I am not sure if I am missing something. https://www.moneyweb.co.za/mny_sens/datatec-limited-finalisation-announcement-in-respect-of-the-special-cash-dividend-of-r23-per-share-to-ordinary-shareholders/ R23.00 dividend per share is pretty large right ? On a R56 share. Do I only need to be holding the shares on 12 Jan 2018 to receive dividend ? Would this SENS info not drive the share price up ? but it still fairly seems flat. Any advice would help thanks. Slade
