This really looks like a great app!
I downloaded it now, and it asks you to link all you banking accounts to it.
As in, provide login credentials for my bank accounts... How safe can this be? Is anyone using it?
If you bank with FNB you can setup a new user with read only access to your account and use that account for 22seven. Not sure if the other banks has this type of feature.
Also got my liberty and easy equities linked as well.

Stocks to watch for 2017, according to Bloomberg:
https://www.bloomberg.com/features/year-ahead-2017/
I could only read the first two, the colours are freaking horrible
WTF is that? Holy hell. My eyes will never be the same. (It's all US companies thou so not bothered)
Once you get past the eye bleed you will notice that at no 41 is Steinhoff which is interesting.

Can someone explain this to me
CLIENTELE LIMITED [JSE:CLI]
According to their website they only listed on the JSE in May 2008. And if you look at their graph, that is when that weird "fall" is.

Did a bit of further investigation.
Looks like the last data bloomberg is showing stops just after 5pm yesterday.
https://www.bloomberg.com/markets/api/quote-page/PTXTEN:SJ
There is a section called: priceTimeSeries and there is all the different price changes which stops @ 5pm.
Confirmed this with some other stocks as well.
There is another tag that says:
dateTimeRanges: {
start: "2016-08-10T07:00:00Z",
end: "2016-08-10T15:02:00Z"
These are offset by 2 hours which means the data starts @ 9am and ends @ 5pm

Does anyone know why there is a difference in the price being displayed by bloomberg when comparing it to google finance.
I checked multiple stock quotes @ 11:20 PM SA time on both sites and they were all different on price and percentage change for the day.
Here is a screen grab I took for PTXTEN from both sites.
Which one is correct?
It seems like the price currently being displayed on Easy equities match that from Google Finance.

Not sure if you knew this but you can "edit portfolio" and select the default currency for your portfolio so that the total amounts show up in rands as well.
Google killed the google finance api about 2 years ago so it is probably just a matter of time before they kill the complete google finance feature.

What errors are you getting currently?
I went into easyequities.co.za then reports in the menu then I clicked on Google finance it have a csv which I then imported into Google finance, it asked me to review my import and then I changed the Google finance columns to match that of my csv.
After that it worked like a charm and I went and deleted all the unnecessary transactions.
When it imports it just says there were import errors but it does not actually say which specific line it has issues with.
From the bit I have looked I can see some of the transactions not being picked up are normal sale transactions.

I am just loving this Google finance portfolio with the easyequities.co.za export...
I have uploaded all 4 accounts I have signing rights over. It's amazing having everything at a glance and it's up to date in monetary terms.
Puts things into perspective the graphs. I love graphs and having my portfolio now visible as a graph I can see and analyze a lot better.
How did you get past your import errors?
My column names are correct but I can't get it to import without errors.

In the menu go to reports - there is an excel export which always freezes up your excel and the google finance export.
The date range doesn't matter when you do an export. It always exports everything. (unless they fixed that)

The Easy Equities export needs some work.
It doesn't export all the costs you had buying/selling a share (only the broker costs gets exported)
There is also issue with when a company has a rights issue (ie lonmin)
I always have to manually fix a bunch of stuff when importing.
